To All Faith Covenant Church Home Educators:
Welcome to Victory Academy, a ministry of Faith Covenant Church, Springfield, TN. Our conviction from the Bible is that education is the responsibility of the home even if entrusted to an outside educational facility. For this reason, we are offering a Christian home-education program.
Tennessee has a church-related school law, Code 49-6-3050 of the Tennessee Education Code that recognizes those whose religion is opposed to secular humanism. Our desire at Victory Academy is to help Christian parents exercise that right. However, our program is never intended to provide this service for a home that is not a Christian home sharing our Biblical convictions about education.
Parents do have to be members of Faith Covenant Church and be agreement on every point of doctrine with Faith Covenant Church. It is not our position to seek control but to offer support to Christian home-schooling families. We do require that all home-educating families in Victory Academy be Christians, recognizing the absolute deity of Jesus Christ and His Lordship over every area of their lives including the education of their children. In view of these beliefs, home educators must recognize their children’s need to interact socially with others in a vital church life. It is the conviction of this administration that for home school success, there must be an active church life.

The success of home educators depends on cooperation with each other. Real victory depends on obedience to God’s Word in every area of life.
Victory Academy is a member of TANAS (Tennessee Association of Non-Public Academic Schools)
Our program of home-education is a ministry to Christian parents or legal guardians to provide the opportunity to bring your children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Isaiah 54:13) in every area of life including academics. This program does not cover home-education by anyone other than parents or legal guardians. We are here to help Christian parents who want to rear and educate their children. If this is your motive, we are honored to help.
